RE-ELECT

Daniel Mara

Judge of Probate

TOBACCO VALLEY PROBATE DISTRICT BLOOMFIELD, SUFFIELD, WINDSOR LOCKS and EAST GRANBY

Service

I am the Judge of Probate for the Tobacco Valley Probate District, serving Bloomfield, Suffield, East Granby, and Windsor Locks. You elected me in 2022, and I am asking for your vote again on November 3, 2026. Probate court helps people during difficult times. Families may be dealing with the death of a loved one, guardianship, adoption, conservatorship, or other personal matters. My job is to make the process clear, respectful, and fair. Since taking office, I have helped hundreds of local families. I have worked to protect people with intellectual disabilities and others who need support. I have helped children find safe homes. When conservators or guardians are needed, I appoint them carefully and make sure they do their jobs responsibly. I also handle estates and trusts. I work to make sure a person’s assets go where they should, bills are paid, and estate representatives act fairly. This work is personal to me. Before I became judge, my wife and I came to the Tobacco Valley Probate Court to adopt our children and build our family. I know how much this court can matter. It is a privilege to help other families find answers, stability, and hope. Thank you for your trust and for the chance to serve. On November 3, please vote for Dan Mara for Tobacco Valley District Judge of Probate.

Protecting Families

Probate court decisions shape the lives of families navigating estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.  Every case deserves individual attention.

Efficient Administration

Delays in probate proceedings cause real hardship. I am committed to modernizing court processes and resolving matters promptly and fairly.

Accessible Justice

Everybody deserves equal access to the court. I work hard to ensure the probate process is clear, transparent, and navigable for all.
